In an effort to provide more ease to its subscribers while paying bills, state-owned BSNL has entered into a partnership with Punjab National Bank (PNB).

Under the arrangement, the telephone users of BSNL can now pay their bills via ATMs of Punjab National Bank. The facility is free for the subscribers of BSNL.

BSNL said in an official release that the mobile postpaid subscribers of the company can use the 1700 strong ATM network of PNB to pay their bills.

BSNL plans to extend the latest service also for fixed line customers throughout the country shortly. Presently, the service for fixed line subscribers supports 19 major cities.

At present, BSNL customers have a choice of different options of making bill payment, including BSNL counters, post offices, banks, through internet, through ITC card, ITZ card, credit and debit card, easy bill outlets etc.
